From the President

Starting in 1868 at Osaka, our company originated from the manufacturing of steel structure for buildings. Since then, Komai Tekko Incorporated has made significant accomplishments as a specialist of bridges and steel frames manufacturing. Our works have contributed to the national development and the provision of infrastructure for the local communities.

One of our outstanding projects, amongst many other large-scale bridges, was the Honshu-Shikoku Bridges which connected the Shikoku Island to the Main island. We have also introduced automated production lines to make the necessary switch to more-streamlined construction. Our steel frame projects have involved installation of, and technical development for, automatic fabrication lines for box girders used in ultra-high buildings. In addition, Komai Tekko Inc. has also completed high-grade frame construction for super-high buildings, cultural and athletic facilities, and the like.

The Komai Group comprises a total of five manufacturing centers nationwide, and in addition to all stages of steel-framework development from design through installation, it has also made advances into the fields of maintenance and construction machinery. The group aims to provide consolidated engineering services for framework construction.

Built upon our experiences and expertise, we shall strive for the development of new technologies, while at the same time, ensuring that our corporate obligations are fully satisfied in terms of environmental protection and the maintenance of social resources.
