Our Futtsu Plant commenced operations in September 1995 as a state-of-the-art facility for the specialist manufacture of bridges. The Framework Construction Building was added to the plant in June 2001, and this began full-scale operation in the August of that year.
Our Futtsu Works has various automated lines for both bridge and steel-structure fabricating, capable of providing high-quality products consistently and quickly. It also has wharf facilities for assembly and shipment of large-size structures that are available for transportation by sea.
As we strive to attain higher levels of customer trust and reliance, and in order that Komaihaltec Inc. may continue to make valuable contributions to the creation of transport networks and infrastructure, we have committed ourselves to making even greater efforts in research and development.
The Bridge Construction Facility features equipment for NC-primer removal, printing, and marking; production lines for box-girder panel manufacture; and an NC-gantry type, high-speed tunnel. Furthermore, a systematic approach has been taken to ensure that products can be supplied promptly and with reliable quality levels.
Our energy-efficient Framework Construction Building features a vertical-girder welding system, lines for the manufacture of box girders and BH frames, a corner welding system, a girder welding systems, and many other cutting-edge technologies. Immediately after relocation in August 2001, this plant achieved S-grade status as set forth in the Performance Measurement for Framework Manufacture.
